Qian Qiu 千秋 Thousand Autumns Northern Southern Restoration Men's Set

Based on figurines from the Northern Southern Dynasties, the Qian Qiu 千秋 Thousand Autumns Northern Southern Restoration Set is a vibrant look into men's fashions of the past.

Constructed true to history, the Qian Qiu 千秋 set features the famous wide leg trousers of the 4th century AD.

Underneath, a bright red Yaolan Ru 腰襕襦 with dramatic sleeves, a signature style of the Northern Southern dynasties.

Finished with a golden embroidered Liang Dang 裲裆, a vest from this period that was secured to the waist with a belt. Originally a form of undergarment, the liangdang 裲裆 eventually evolved into a decorate outer wear. 

Liang Dang vest comes in two forms:

1. Connected - one side of the vest is pre-attached in addition to the shoulder straps, won't shift as much
2. Split - historical form of the best, two separate panels connected only by the shoulder straps

This set does not come with a belt and must be purchased separately.

SIZING INFORMATION

Note that Chinese sizes are smaller than US sizes. To avoid wrong sizings, please refer to the sizing chart in the photos. Please measure in centimeters.

CLEANING INFORMATION

Please hand wash carefully as to not ruin the embroidery, jewels, or buttons. Please air dry the clothes on a hanger. Hand washing and air drying also extends the life of your hanfu. For ironing, please use lowest heat setting or steam out the wrinkles.
